For the love of Twins!!!!!!!!!

Had the pleasure of shooting a set of boy/girl twins on Sunday. The Moore Twins were born on the 4th of July and at just about one month old they are the tiniest babies I have ever held. They are so sweet and silly. I just can't wait to watch them grow! Congratulation Tahra and Eric you have a beautiful family.

I can't believe how terrible I am at keeping up with this blog LOL I keep forgetting that I actually have it.
Recently I have had a 9 month old session and a twin maternity session that I am excited to show everyone....so without anymore hesitation here are some images from those sessions

Finally some sun and warm weather in Michigan this past Saturday! Love going downtown and finding new places to take pictures---love urban! 8 year old girls are great to shoot, don't need much instruction and having a gorgeous hot pink pettiskirt helps with the fun!

And a first for me was using my flash off camera in an outdoor shoot...Loved it.

Finally took photos in my new studio

My hubby made me this studio over a month ago and I haven't taken any pictures in it. Here are some of the first images taken in my studio--all natural light with sky blue seamless paper.
Thanks for looking
Ps I hope no one gets offended by his undies showing these, did this on purpose because he'll be two next month and is doing so well with potty training and I love his little boxer briefs so much that I wanted images to remember.

Carter's 6 month session.

I did Carter's newborn and his 3 month photos so I was more than excited to be able to do his 6 month session as well. I had a great time photographing him and watching all the silly faces and funny noises he makes. Can't wait to do his next session when we can hopefully get outside. Thanks again.

Been neglectful

I know I know, I have been neglecting my blog--but I just got a website so I am trying to update my blog to go along with that. I will post some new photos soon.

Kristopher

I was hired to take Kristopher photos as he was coming into the world. It was the most amazing shoot I have done to date---for more information about the birth photos please visit my flickr site. When he was one week old I took some newborn photos of him, here are some of my favorites from that session.

Now that Kristopher is over one month old, I got the opportunity to take more photos of him
Here are some from his one month session

Photos of my kiddos

I wanted to put some pictures of my kids up on my blog so you could get to know us a little better.
Here is my oldest–oh my he is going to be 10 on February 1st. We cut his hair into this silly little mohawk (just for 1 day) and so he let me take some pictures of him…and yeah that was a real surprise because he absolutely hates the camera.

Here is my only daughter, she is 7 now and soon I’ll have new pictures of her to post because her two top teeth are really loose—and yes she is a spoiled little princess LOL but she’s ours!

And this is my youngest…Logan…he is 1 and a 1/2 years old and such a terror. He is also the sweetest little thing and so silly — definately my favorite to photograph because he doesn’t run away from my camera so fast!

I mean come on....look at this goofy face! LOL

LOL

So there they are---my inspiration

Side note about me.

I am writing this post to notify everyone that I am trying out a new business name so some of the images you may see on this blog have my old watermark and business name on them. I want to make sure that everyone knows that I used to be "Worth A Thousand Words Photography" and in fact most of my sites still have that name. Thank you for taking the time to view my photographs!

My brother-in-law is getting married!

So you know what that means? Yep, I was able to take engagement portraits—YAY ME. My future sister-in-law wanted some outdoor portraits during this session, but living in Michigan and it being winter we had to work quickly. Here are my favorites from that session. P.S. Aren’t they the cutest?!

After a few freezing moments outside we decided to ask a local hotel about coming in and getting a few more images while we warmed up. They happily allowed us a few moments of warmth.

And you just can't do an engagement session without a goofy image
